We are not afraid of numbers. Using quantitative research techniques can be useful to gather insights about the wider economic, spatial, cultural and social contexts that each project is embedded in. We can equally use numeric data to look at peoples behaviours, trends and needs.  A variety of specific methods can be applied, e.g. secondary data analysis, collecting survey data, quantitative geographical analyses.
